Nairobi, Dec. 9 (EFE).- Dozens of human rights activists protested Tuesday in Nairobi in a demonstration organized in solidarity with Tanzania, condemning the violent repression and killing of civilians by Tanzanian security forces during the recent October elections. These protests were sparked by the deadly ... crackdown by security forces following the controversial October elections in Tanzania, in which President Samia Suluhu Hassan was declared the winner with 98% of the vote. Kenyan activists have joined an international call expressing concern about the political and human rights situation and urging President Hassan to resign. CAMERA: DANIEL IRUNGU.
