A big tsunami spread destruction over the Northern part of Japan after the grade 9 earthquake that shook the country last Friday. Ships on the highways, cars and houses dragged hundreds of meters by the power of the water, and thousands of casualties. Videos recorded ... by phones and TV cameras leave a deep impression of the tragedy.
Sendai's airport was literally swept out by the quake. Upper video shows how the shake was felt inside the terminal. The next one, recorded by Japanese TV cameras, shows the tsunami outside the airport.
