Tigres, gatitos y algún cuervo
Qué alivio da ver cómo se portan algunas empresas con sus empleados ejemplares, incluso cuando éstos se han descarrilado ligeramente por algún desliz de la vida, de esos que pasan en las mejores familias. Véase Electronic Arts y Tiger Woods, un idilio que se remonta al siglo pasado y que, suponemos, ha proporcionado pingües beneficios a ambos. Hasta que, ay, empezaron a salir a la luz las hazañas del golfista en otros campos más floridos, y algunos ejecutivos de EA se replantearon la franquicia "Tiger Woods PGA Tour", santo y seña del género golfo, digo golfístico. Al final, se solventó con un pequeño de rodillas y con los brazos en cruz, añadiendo a otro jugador (Rory McIlory) a la carátula de su edición 2011, y un año más tarde, una bonita panorámica del Masters de Augusta. Detalle regular, aunque este año se han portado, ya que "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2013" le brindará un homenaje especial al tigre de los agujeros con un modo de juego donde podremos ver evolucionar al crack desde sus tiernos años de la infancia hasta la madurez, pasando por la siempre convulsa adolescencia (despachada con esta imagen de Woods con gafas a lo Steve Urkel y fondo de lluvia para enfriar hormonas revueltas). Qué bonito, ¿verdad? Ya, igual alguno echa en falta otra etapa más, digamos, personal, pero tampoco hay que aguarle la fiesta al muchacho. El 29 de marzo en sus mejores tiendas, por cierto.

#3 Nombre - 18/03/2012 a las 07:41:34Had a friend in College (mom a life long Christian Scientist, which he spsuopedly became, last I heard.) who through his research had access to some pretty pure pharmaceutical stuff.He always claimed that the original (often plant-based) drugs were usually better than "new and improved."Seemed true in those days:Certainly chewing Coca leaves must have been a healthier habit than refined stuff, and recently had a stay at the hospital which luckily has an enlightened pain-management policy.Hard to imagine how morphine could be improved on, at least for me, but feel no "need" for it now that pain is gone.(Worry about living w/o non-steroidals from now on a bit tho, so if you have a post on a safe substitute for those, I would appreciate the tip.)

Narcan is such a no-brainer. Opposition to Narcan really hglhiights the moral bankruptcy of the war-on-drugs crowd. But can you really just shoot it up somebody's nose? When I was on the street is was injection only. They'd prefer to have people die from drugs than take drugs and not die. It's all about "the message" it sends. And, they think (despite much evidence to the contrary), if drugs were safer, more people would take drugs. The war on drugs survives in part because of the "fact" that drugs kill. If they didn't kill, they wouldn't be so evil. And if drugs weren't so evil, how could we keep doing what we do to fight them?

I had got a desire to make my own company, nevertheless I did not have enough of cash to do it. Thank heaven my close dude said to take the loan. Hence I received the car loan and realized my desire.
