Las comunidades existen dentro de nosotros, son aquellos círculos de afinidad cultural alrededor de nuestros gustos, los productos que apreciamos, las aficiones a las que dedicamos tiempo. Nosotros, de manera natural, estamos dentro de diferentes comunidades de personas afines. Estas son algunas de las ideas que podéis ver en la genial charla de Chris Pirillo en el evento en el que debería estar si tuviera tiempo, LeWeb 2009.
A todos los que estáis empezando a bucear en los misterios de la palabra de moda: Social Media, os recomiendo la charla, que es sobre todo clarificadora: "No puedes crear una comunidad, se crea a si misma". Si tienes la tentación de proponer a vuestra empresa la creación de una comunidad, las primeras preguntas que debes hacerte son: ¿es estrictamente necesario? ¿los usuarios lo piden? ¿hay base social para esto? Las herramientas y la tecnología son la consecuencia, no la causa de una comunidad. Puedes utilizar una lista de mails, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace e incluso el temido Wave, pero si la comunidad a la que pretendes llegar no es suficiente, o sencillamente no consigues atraerla, no servirá de nada. Some time ago, I really needed to buy a good car for my business but I did not earn enough cash and could not order something. Thank goodness my colleague proposed to try to take the business loans at reliable creditors. Thus, I did that and was happy with my student loan.
